Virat Kohli celebrates New Year with Anushka and teammates in South Africa

India skipper Virat Kohli celebrated the New Year with his wife Anushka Sharma and teammates in South Africa. The veteran took to Twitter to share photos of the celebration. He also extended his wishes to the people back home. In one of the photos, Kohli was seen posing with his teammates - Ishant Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Navdeep Saini, Mayank Agarwal and Shardul Thakur.

Meanwhile, Kohli's wife Anushka Sharma also shared a cake cutting snap on Instagram and said that 2021 was great for her and Kohli as they welcomed their greatest happiness - their daughter Vamika.

2021 was a great year for Team India as they won a series in Australia, won matches in England and concluded the year with a win over South Africa in Centurion.

Speaking about Kohli's form with the bat, it saw a dip as the batter failed to end his century drought. The skipper will be hoping that the new year brings a change in his fortunes. India's next Test against South Africa gets underway on January 3 in Johannesburg.
