Virat Kohli credits AB de Villiers and Anushka Sharma, as he returns to form

Indian skipper Virat Kohli returned to form with an impressive 73 not out in the second T20I game against England. Virat Kohli attributed RCB companion AB de Villiers and wife Anushka Sharma for his return to form. On numerous occasions, IPL's benefits are always mentioned by former players and the experts of the game. The Indian Premier League has made domestic players more confident of how to approach the international level. It has also resulted in remarkable bonds between foreign and Indian players.

The Men in Blue defeated England by seven wickets to equal the series 1-1. Young debutant Ishan Kishan continued from where he left in IPL 2020 to take on the English bowlers. The 22-year-old returned with an impressive 56. Indian skipper Virat Kohli also came back to form with an unbeaten 73.

Chasing a target of 165, India had to deal with an early blow as KL Rahul returned for a 5-ball duck. He also attributed his wife Anushka Sharma, who is staying with him in the team's bio-bubble.

Over the years, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers' friendship has flourished. Both cricketers have been a crucial part of the RCB camp for a long time now and came very close to winning the trophy in the 2016 season. The pair will once again reunite in the upcoming IPL 2021 edition, starting from April. Royal Challengers Bangalore will play the season-opener against defending champions Mumbai Indians in Chennai. With the ongoing series now level at 1-1, the third match on March 16 at the same stadium is set to be another cracker.
