On Saturday, Virat Kohli hosted a fun Q&A session on his Instagram. He replied to a lot of questions from his fans. The Indian skipper had to answer serious queries about his quarantine routines, his diet, and how he deals with criticism.
Among all these, one follower asked him to reveal a secret about the Indian national team. Virat Kohli gave a hilarious response to that and said that the national team is nothing but a group of pranksters.
Another follower asked Kohli to name one bowler from the past who would have troubled him in the current era. Virat Kohli named former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram as his answer. Wasim Akram is known as the master of reverse swing and pinpoints yorkers. In his 19 years long cricket career, he collected more than 900 wickets across 460 international matches.
Most of the queries that Kohli had to answer were related to the Indian team and his daily routine. But one amusing question was related to his IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He was asked to choose the funniest, smartest, and shy cricketer from RCB. Kohli gave an obvious answer to the first two questions. He chose Yuzvendra Chahal as the funniest and AB de Villiers as the smartest player from RCB. He picked Kyle Jamieson as the shy player of the team.
Virat Kohli characterized MS Dhoni in two words
One of Kohli’s followers asked him to describe MS Dhoni in two words. Kohli chose the words trust and respect to describe him. He had previously associated these terms with Dhoni, both before and after the wicketkeeper-batsman's retirement.
At present, Kohli and his teammates are undergoing a hard quarantine in Mumbai. The BCCI had arranged for 3 charter flights to fly the players to Mumbai. After the quarantine, the team would fly to the UK on 2nd June. The Indian team would first face the New Zealand team in the World Test Championship final, starting from 18th June. Then, the team would play against England in a five-match test series. It would be Kohli’s biggest test assignment as the captain of the Indian team.
