In the match between Pakistan and Australia, being played at the National Stadium in Karachi, a fan was seen holding a sign board with a message for Virat Kohli. “Dear Virat! Whether you score a century or not, you’ll always be my hero,” read the message.

The world has been waiting for Virat Kohli’s 71st century. Kohli has been in a run drought for some time now. He hit his last century more than two years ago. While he has scored a few half-centuries in this time, everyone seems to want more. The standard that Virat has set for the game has left the fans craving for more.
The incident of fan support for Virat from Pakistan is not the only one as the craze for Kohli in Pakistan was witnessed in the first Test between Pakistan and Australia in Rawalpindi as well.

Virat’s century drought has continued in the Test series against Sri Lanka as well. He was expected to score a century in the first match as it was also his 100th Test, but that did not happen. In the next match too, he could not breakthrough in the first innings and was dismissed cheaply.
