The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli was pleased after seeing his side finally grab a win in the third ODI against Australia. Playing against a completely different Australian side, India recorded their first win of the tour to end the series 2-1. But despite losing the series, Virat Kohli felt his team played with great determination. The success has gained momentum for the upcoming T20 series.

Team India found a wicket in the first powerplay and then dismissed Steve Smith, unlike the previous two matches. India slowly gained momentum with subsequent dismissals of Moises Henriques, skipper Aaron Finch, and Cameron Green. Glenn Maxwell once again created trouble with his switch-hit play and scored a third consecutive fifty.

Virat Kohli after the match stated that It's notably delightful since we were in trouble for the first half of our innings. We fought back both times ultimately. Virat mentioned how Shubman's come back in the squad brought some freshness. The pitch condition was much better in terms of helping the bowlers, so obviously, the level of confidence goes up, he added.

India was in tight situations on a few occasions, but the men in blue fought back and sealed the win by 13 runs. A significant batting partnership between Pandya and Jadeja ultimately proved to be the difference between the two teams.

We had an outstanding partnership between Pandya and Jadeja: Virat Kohli

Team India's win in the third ODI came after they won the toss and elected to bat first. Domineered by Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, and Virat Kohli, India finished with a massive total of 302/5.

Australia seemed to be sailing to victory when Glenn Maxwell was scoring against the Indian bowlers. However, the hosts to get over the line after their star performer was dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah. This gave the visitors a consolation win.

According to the opinion of the Indian skipper, the partnership by Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja played a massive role in India's win. He also added it was precisely what the team needed to get that boost, even though we have lost the series.

The victory will provide a significant boost to India's team spirit. It will give them the momentum heading into the T20I and Test series against the Australians. Even though the hosts were missing several important players, team India showed just what they are capable of.
