Virat Kohli has taken a rest from this whole tour of New Zealand
Speaking of the incident, Murali Kartik was seen doing his broadcasting duties during the rain delay before the first T20I. There, he interacted with some Indian fans who were waiting to see the match getting started. Kartik asked: “Any particular player you are missing from this Indian squad?"
In response to that, fans took the names of Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni. Hearing those names, fans went crazy as the incident went viral. Speaking of Virat Kohli, he managed to take a rest from this whole tour of New Zealand after the World Cup. After this T20I series, he will not be a part of the ODI series also. In the World Cup, he performed well with the bat for India.
In six matches, Kohli managed to hit four fifties. Virat Kohli scored 296 runs at an average of 98.66 in those matches. Despite such a great performance, India’s journey in the World Cup came to an end in the semi-final against England. Jos Buttler and his men thrashed the Men in Blue by 10 wickets. However, Virat Kohli scored 50 runs off 40 balls, in that match, including four boundaries and one six.
