Virat Kohli has been receiving love from all across the globe during his tough times with the bat. The veteran cricketer has not been able to get the best results for a while, which has attracted a lot of attention. His poor form continued in the tour of England as well.
After he failed in the second ODI of the series, Pakistani captain Babar Azam took to Twitter to share a message for Virat Kohli. He posted a picture along with Virat with the caption, "This too shall pass. Stay strong. #ViratKohli." The former Indian skipper has now responded to this tweet saying, "Thank you. Keep shining and rising. Wish you all the best."

Babar revealed the reason for his Tweet, saying that he understands that a player needs support during such a difficult time. "As a player myself, I know you can go through such a phase (out of form) and I also know what a player goes through in such a phase. In those times, you need support. I just tweeted thinking that it will give just some support. He is one of the best players," Babar said during a press conference ahead of Pakistan’s first Test against Sri Lanka.
"He is playing a lot of cricket and he knows how to come out of these situations. It takes time, if you back players, it will be really good," he added.
Babar Azam is frequently compared to his opponent and Indian batting sensation Virat Kohli. Since making his international debut in 2015, Pakistan's skipper has made tremendous improvements as a batter. Last year, the 27-year-old player surpassed Kohli to be the number one batter in ODI cricket.
Babar recently also broke India's batting great's record for the longest amount of time as the number one batter in T20 internationals. The two share a great deal of rapport together which is evident when they face each other.
