India’s former skipper, Virat Kohli has been enduring a lean patch with the bat in the last few years. It’s been more than 1000 days since Kohli notched his last century in International cricket.

Much to the delight of the fans, he produced a vital half-century in the last match against Hong Kong. On a pitch that wasn’t an ideal one to bat on, Kohli played with a lot of caution initially before changing his gears. He went on to score 59 runs in 44 balls, including 1 four and 3 sixes.

His knock helped India beat Hong Kong by 40 runs and seal their spot in the top-four. It will be interesting to see if Kohli continues his good form and play a match-winning knock on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Bangalore batter has uploaded a heart-warming post for the Bollywood actress and his wife, Anushka Sharma. He uploaded a picture of his wife, who can be seen wearing a black dress.

Kohli wrote 'My world' as the caption of the post.

Australian opener, David Warner also took notice of the post and left a comment, which read, ‘Lucky Man mate.’ The fans found it hilarious and came out with interesting reactions to the same.

‘Sir, your wife is surely gonna kill you for this’, wrote one user.

Virat Kohli, on the other hand, also acknowledged Warner's comment and expressed gratefulness for the same.

Meanwhile, India are most likely to play against Pakistan in the ‘Super Four’ match at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Notably, the two teams locked horns with each other earlier in the second match on Sunday.

India restricted Pakistan to just 147 runs in the first innings. Bhuvneshwar Kumar starred with the ball, picking 4 for 26 in 4 overs. Besides, Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh claimed 3 for 2 wickets respectively.

In pursuit of that India chased down the score in 19.4 overs. Hardik Pandya, once again, exhibited his finishing skills with an unbeaten knock of 33 runs in 17 balls, including 4 fours and 1 six.
