Virat Kohli will be in action for team India for the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka. Along with other senior cricketers, Kohli took a rest from the recently concluded T20I series. During that break, he went to an ashram in Vrindavan along with his wife Anushka Sharma, and daughter Vamika.
Many pictures and videos have gone viral recently from that visit on all social media platforms. Fans also got a few glimpses of Vamika. Now, on the eve of the three-match ODI series, the former India skipper shared an adorable picture on Instagram where both of them were seen along with him on a beach.

Virat Kohli will look to start 2023 with good form against Sri Lanka
Speaking of the picture, Virat Kohli shared it with a caption in the Punjabi language. The caption reads: "Rabba bakshiyan tu enniyan meherbaniyan, hor terto kuch ni mangda, bas tera shukar ada kardan." It roughly gets translated into: "God you blessed us so abundantly that I don't have any other desires. I just want to thank you".
Speaking about Virat Kohli, he had an excellent 20-20 World Cup for India in 2022. Then, after taking a rest from the whole New Zealand tour, he made a comeback in the Bangladesh tour. In the ODI series, he managed to score an ODI hundred. But, Kohli had a forgettable Test series. So, fans will be eager to see him back in action in this upcoming ODI series. However, in this T20I series, India played a younger side by resting all senior players. So, fans have thought that the return of senior players in the shortest format of the game is done and dusted.
While speaking to reporters after the second game, Rahul Dravid said: "For us, obviously, from the last semi-final (in the 20-20 World Cup) that we played against England, only 3-4 boys are playing in the XI (against Sri Lanka). We are slightly in a different stage of looking at the next cycle of 20-20, so ours is a slightly younger team and for us to play against the quality of Sri Lanka is a fantastic experience. The good thing is that a lot of focus is on the ODI World Cup and World Test Championship, so the 20-20 give us the opportunity to try out these guys."
