Virat Kohli's adorable response to Yuvraj's gift wins hearts

Yuvraj Singh recently gifted Virat Kohli a pair of golden shoes while sharing an adorable note on Kohli's journey as a cricketer to one of the veterans of the game.  The two were a part of the Indian team when they won the World Cup in 2011. They have given fans some great memories over the years, individually and together. In the message he sent to Kohli, he said that Virat will always remain Cheeku for him. He also lauded Kohli for inspiring generations. "Mere liye tu hamesha Cheeku rahega aur duniya ke liye King Kohli," he said.

Virat Kohli has now responded to his former teammate with a special message on Instagram. Virat pointed out that the all-rounder has been there for him since he started playing the game. He also said that Yuvraj's comeback story from cancer has been very inspiring for him. The former Indian skipper wished Yuvraj on becoming a father.

In his Instagram post, Virat wrote, "Yuvi Pa thank you for this wonderful gesture. Coming from someone who's seen my career unfold from day 1, it means a lot. Your life and your comeback from cancer was, is and will always be an inspiration for people in all walks of life not just cricket. I've known you for who you are and you've always been very generous and caring for people around you. Now we're both parents and know what a blessing that is. I wish you all the happiness, beautiful memories and blessings in this new journey.
