Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir will be in action once again after many years. However, both players will be representing different teams in the upcoming Legends League Cricket. While Sehwag will be representing the Gujarat Giants, Gambhir will turn up for the India Capitals side. Talking about the teams, the Giants are owned by Adani Group while the Capitals are owned by GMR Sportsline.
Meanwhile, both players will lead their respective in the second season of the tournament. After the development, Sehwag has said that he is excited to get back to the field. He added that having Adani Group as the team principal will be a perfect way to restart cricketing innings. The two-time World Cup further added that he always believed in playing fearless cricket and would continue to do so.
"I am excited to get back to the cricket ground again. Having Adani Group as Team Principal and a professional outfit like Gujarat Giants is a perfect way to kick start this cricketing innings once again. I have personally always believed in playing fearless cricket and I will continue to propagate the same brand of cricket here too," said Gujarat Giants skipper Sehwag.
A captain is as good as his team: Gautam Gambhir
On the other hand, Gambhir said that cricket is a team game and a captain is as good as his team. After becoming the captain of the India Capitals, the left-hander said that he will be pushing for a spirited team who are passionate and eager to do well.

Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh to lead the teams as well
Apart from Sehwag and Gambhir, their former India teammates, Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh will also lead different teams in the tournament. Pathan will lead LNJ Bhilwara Group's Bhilwara Kings team while Singh will lead Manipal Group-owned Manipal Tigers. After the appointment as captains, this is what both captains have to say.

As a Cricketer I did not get an opportunity to Captain the team but this will be something I am really looking forward to.
