Former Indian player Virender Sehwag is known for his witty tweets and hilarious replies to trolls. He has once again come up with a hilarious reaction a Pakistan political analyst Zaid Hamid after the latter confused javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra with cricketer Ashish Nehra in one of his tweets.
The tweet came after Arshad Nadeem, a Pakistani javelin thrower, earned a gold medal for his country in the recently concluded Commonwealth Games 2022. "And what makes this victory even sweeter is the fact that this Pakistani athlete has destroyed Indian javelin throw hero Ashish Nehra. In the last competition, Ashish had defeated Arshad Nadeem. What a sweet revenge to come back," Hameed tweeted. It should be noted that Hamid's Twitter account has been blocked in India.
The Twitterati immediately noted Hamid's confusion between Neeraj Chopra and Ashish Nehra as soon as this tweet got out. Former India batter Sehwag posted the screenshot of Hamid's tweet and wrote: "Chicha, Ashish Nehra is right now preparing for UK Prime Minister Elections. So Chill."

Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan created history a few days ago when he won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games, bringing the country's first gold medal in the sport at the CWG. In the final of the CWG, Nadeem threw 90.18m, becoming him the first South Asian to break the 90m mark.
As for Neeraj Chopra, he missed the Commonwealth Games due to an injury sustained in the World Championships final, when he won a silver medal. The Olympic gold medalist was a contender to bag a gold medal for India at the Birmingham event.
Syed Hussain Bukhari, Arshad's coach, previously stated that he would want to see Neeraj Chopra compete alongside Arshad in either Islamabad or Lahore. He went on to remark that Neeraj is like their son and that if he wins, they will lavish him with affection.
"Most of the time, Arshad trains at the Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad and Lahore too, my wish is to see Arshad and Neeraj compete at a packed stadium in Lahore or Islamabad. Neeraj is also like our son. I as a Pakistani promise you that if Neeraj wins, we will shower him the same love we showered on Milkha Singh Ji when he won against Abdul Khaliq in Lahore in 1960. Athletes share a common bond of love for the sports," he told Indian Express.
