With the Indian T20 League mega auction just under four days away, it has become the hottest topic of discussion. Every supporter wants its team to have the best possible combination and be the strongest team going into the 2022 season. While everyone has their opinions as to what teams should do in the auction, social media has made it easy for them to let their teams know exactly that.
Rajasthan posted a tweet with some screenshots of the messages they received from their fans. Some of the requests were absolutely hilarious. A fan requested the franchise to rope in David Warner as he makes good reels, while another fan warned them against signing Mitchell Marsh. One fan asked them to sign him at 15% equity.
Referring to the trend of Shark Tank India- a television reality show- a fan said, "Mujhe lelo bhai, main sirf 15% equity lunga."

Bangalore will host the ITL mega auction on the 12th and the 13th of February. The ten teams will now be ready with their plans and target players. The teams were allowed to retain up to four players ahead of the 2022 season. Rajasthan retained Sanju Samson as their primary player, Jos Buttler was their secondary player, and Yashasvi Jaiswal was their uncapped player. They are being paid 14 crores, 10 crores, and 4 crores respectively.
Royals have been very active in the past auctions, and they have made some bizarre decisions to pay a few players extraordinary prices. This time around, they will have to be more careful with their strategy.
