Wasim Jaffer is always up for some fun on social media, and the England team is always on his radar. He has once again taken a dig at the English team by posting a hilarious tweet. India was able to score 416 runs in the first innings of the ongoing fifth Test match. The team had already lost half of the side for a total of 98 runs. Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja got the team back in the game as each scored a century.

When India had lost five wickets, it seemed as if they would not be able to score big. However, Jadeja and Pant's excellent knocks allowed the team to reach over 400. Jaffer took this chance to troll the England team with a tweet that involved Kevin Pietersen and Andrew Flintoff.

"Eng: Indian total won't be that high. Meanwhile Indian total:" he wrote and added a photo of Pietersen and Flintoff, who looked high.

Here is Wasim Jaffer's tweet

As for the match, Pant scored an attacking 146 runs in 111 balls, while Jadeja scored a conservative innings of 104 runs in 194 balls. The two account for 222 runs for the sixth-wicket partnership. Notably, this is the highest sixth-wicket partnership for India against England. In the end, Jasprit Bumrah played an exceptional cameo of 31 runs in 16 balls. He hit 29 runs against Stuart Broad's over. He set the world record for most runs by a batter in a single over in Test cricket.

India managed 416 runs on the board. They then followed it up with a brilliant start with the ball. The team captain Bumrah was at the top of his game as he dismissed the top three England batters. Before the second day concluded, Mohammed Siraj and Mohammad Shami each grabbed one wicket as well.

England currently has a score of 84/5. The Indian team will look to exploit the English conditions early-on on day three to take a few more wickets. They would want to restrict England to a low total.
