The friendly banter between Wasim Jaffer and Michael Vaughan continued after England lost the fifth Ashes Test on Sunday. Australia defeated England by 146 runs after the English batting suffered a massive collapse again. England required 271 runs to win the Test match after the bowlers managed to bundle up the Australian innings for just 155 runs.

Rory Burns and Zak Crawley provided a great start to the team. The duo added 68 runs for the first wicket before Burns departed after scoring 26 runs off 46 balls. England lost the last nine wickets for just 56 runs. The Australian trio of Pat Cummins, Scott Boland, and Cameron Green picked three wickets each.

Travis Head who made a century during the first innings won the player of the match award. Head was the leading run-scorer in the series despite missing the fourth Test. He made 357 runs at an average of 59.5. Head made two centuries and one half-century in the series.

England lost the Ashes by a margin of 4-0 and will have to wait for another two years to win a Test match in Australia. Jaffer took to Twitter to share a photo from the Bollywood movie Andaz Apna Apna. The image contained the lyrics of a song from the movie which loosely translates to ‘I am back.’
