Pakistan are currently busy playing the second match of the ongoing home Test series against England. In the first match of the series, England registered a 74-run victory over Ben Stokes and his men. So, Pakistan were looking to win this Test to level the series. On the other hand, England were looking to seal the series by winning this match.
Speaking of the match, Ben Stokes won the toss and chose to bat first. However, on Day two, the visitors managed a lead of 79 runs. Then, in the second innings of England, Abrar Ahmed took the wicket of Joe Root. But, in that dismissal, Abdullah Shafique came up with a great catch and the video has now gone viral.

Abdullah Shafique scored 14 runs off 44 balls in the first innings of the second Test
Speaking of the video, the incident took place in the 21st over. Debutant Abrar Ahmed was bowling while Joe Root was bowling. On the second delivery of that over, Root got down and tried to nudge the ball around the corner. But, Abdullah Shafique was at the short leg and he showed great anticipation as he pulled out a worldie.
Initially, Shafique was wrong-footed but he managed to grab that catch to dismiss Root. Thus, Root got out for 21 runs off 35 balls, including two fours. Speaking of the match, England batted first and scored 281 runs in 51.4 overs. Abrar Ahmed took seven wickets for 114 runs in 22 overs on his debut innings. For England, both Ollie Pope and Ben Duckett managed fifties.
In reply, Pakistan got bundled out for 202 runs in their first innings in 62.5 overs. Abdullah Shafique scored 14 runs off 44 balls. Only skipper, Babar Azam scored 75 runs along with Saud Shakeelโs 63 runs. For England, Jack Leach took four wickets for 98 runs in 27 overs. Thus, the visitors took a 79-run lead. As of now, England have batted 28 overs in their second innings and scored 100 runs for three wickets.
