Australia women took on Bangladesh in their last league game of the Women's World Cup. During the game, a heartwarming gesture by Australia wicketkeeper-batter Alyssa Healy won the hearts. The incident happened when a Bangladesh batter came to the crease and started taking his guard. However, the on-field umpires were not present at the time. Healy took it upon herself to help her counterpart. She turned umpire and helped the player take guard. The sweet gesture earned her praise from all corners of the world.

Talking about the game, the Women In Yellow maintained their winning streak in the tournament. Being asked to bat first, the Women In Green and Red could only muster 135/6 in a rain-shortened 43-overs game. Lata Mondal (33) was the only player to cross the 30-run mark. For Australia, Ashleigh Gardner and Jess Jonassen took two wickets each while Megan Schutt and Annabel Sutherland took one each.
In reply, the Meg Lanning-led lost five wickets for 70 runs and were staring down an upset ahead of the semis. However, useful contributions from Beth Mooney (66*) and Annabel Sutherland (26*) made sure their side crosses the line.
They stitched an unbeaten partnership of 66 runs. With this win, they will enter the semis with seven wins in a row. They are set to play the first semifinal on March 30, with their opponent yet to be decided.
Talking about the semis, South Africa is another team that looks certain to play the second semi as they have nine points in their kitty with only one game to play against India.
On the other hand, India would like to secure their semis berth after winning against South Africa on March 27. England is also in the race with three consecutive wins and will play Bangladesh in their last game.
