So fans loved it this time around as the result came out differently.

Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan fed cake to each other during that ceremony
Speaking of their previous history, Shadab Khan had joked twice in the past by feeding fast bowler Haris Rauf cake. So, Haris Rauf took revenge on Pakistan’s vice-captain’s birthday. Shadab Khan celebrated his birthday on 4 October when they were on a plane to New Zealand for participating in the tri-series.
During that celebration, Shadab Khan cut the cake first. Then, Rauf wanted to feed him the cake. But, the Pakistan pacer ate the cake himself despite Shadab Khan opening his mouth. However, this time around on Masood’s birthday, they fed cake to each other. Thus, it seemed like the cake-feeding saga between them might have come to end after this.
Speaking of the final, New Zealand batted first and scored 163 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs. Haris Rauf grabbed two wickets for 22 runs in four overs. While Shadab Khan took one wicket for 30 runs in four overs. In reply, Pakistan managed to score 168 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. Thus, the Men in Green won the tri-series by five wickets. This win will give them a massive boost ahead of the 20-20 World Cup in the coming weeks. Mohammad Nawaz won the player of the match award for his all-round performance with the bat and ball.
