Dinesh Karthik scored 20 runs off 14 balls against Australia in the warm-up match
Speaking of the video, Arshdeep Singh was seen throwing a ball to the wicket-keeper end. Dinesh Karthik was standing there to collect it. However, the throw was not in the right direction as it was quite wide. Dinesh Karthik was standing like a ‘rock’ as he seemed not happy with the young pacer’s effort.
Yuzvendra Chahal worked as the backup as he collected the throw and prevented any extra runs. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli was there along with Karthik and he could not stop himself from having a laugh at the reaction from the veteran keeper. In the match, India batted first and scored 186 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs. KL Rahul scored 57 runs off 33 balls.
Dinesh Karthik scored 20 runs off 14 balls, including one four and one six. Along with him, Suryakumar Yadav scored 50 runs off 33 balls, including six fours and one six. But, in response, Australia scored 180 runs after losing all wickets in 20 overs. Skipper, Aaron Finch scored 76 runs off 54 balls, including seven fours and three sixes. Arshdeep Singh took one wicket after conceding 34 runs in three overs. Thus, India managed a six-run victory over the Aussies. However, they will be in action again on 19 October against the Kiwis in Brisbane.
