After losing both matches against India and Zimbabwe, Pakistan took on the Netherlands in Perth on 30 October 2022. On 27 October, Pakistan tasted a humiliating loss against Zimbabwe by one run. So, fans were hoping for a better show from Babar Azam and his men in this must-win clash in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup.

Speaking of the match, the Netherlands won the toss and choose to bat first. Shadab Khan was laying the match for Pakistan. But, he got involved in an incident while bowling against the Dutch. In response to that, the Pakistan skipper came up with an epic reaction that went viral on the internet.

Speaking of the video, the incident took place during the ninth over of the match. Shadab Khan was bowling. While for the Dutch, Edwards, and Ackermann were batting. On the third delivery of that over, Shadab trapped Edwards in an LBW decision. However, the umpire did not give it an out as the impact was probably outside off. 

But, the spinner managed to convince his skipper, Babar Azam for taking a review against that decision. But, the impact was outside off literally and the decision of the umpire stood tall. After that, Shadab Khan was seen banging his head with his hands. But, Babar Azam came up with an angry stare at him after losing that review. Fans found it interesting as the video went viral.

Speaking about the match, the Netherlands only scored 91 runs for nine wickets in 20 overs. No batters managed to stitch a solid partnership against the Men in Green. Colin Ackermann was the highest scorer with 27 runs off 27 balls, including two fours. Shadab Khan took three wickets for 22 runs in his four overs. Along with him, Mohammad Wasim Jr. took two wickets for 15 runs in his three overs. Apart from them, three other batters managed to take a single wicket each in the match.
