It's that time of the year in Australia that the summer season is setting in which also means the Cricket carnival is also coming back. For the unversed, cricket isn't played during the Aussies winters (April-August). During the chilly season, Australian football is played on the same grounds which host cricket matches. For this, the pitches are removed and covered with carpet grass.
Now, the Australian winters have come to an end and the summers are setting in. With this, cricket is being played in the Oceania country across different levels. The craze of Grade cricket down under is on a different level. It has produced a lot of great cricketers the world has ever seen. Just like every year, Grade cricket is back in Australia.
Meanwhile, a video of the Grade cricket is going viral on social media. Apparently, a batter hit a low full toss over the long-on for a six. The ball went on to hit a car. After this, the owner of the car came out and asked who hit his car while using foul language. He also mentioned that he lives inside the car.

Talking about cricket in Australia, the national team recently hosted Zimbabwe and is now hosting New Zealand. Notably, none of these matches is played in the famous venues of Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Hobart, etc. These matches are being on the grounds located in suburban areas. Apparently, Cricket Australia (CA) is currently preparing to host teams for the 20-20 World Cup which will be played next month.
Australia will be the defending champions, having won last year in the United Arab Emirates. They would be looking to defend their title at home. Notably, no host team in the history of the tournament has won the tournament. The best performance from a host team was playing the final (Sri Lanka in 2012).
