The Tamil Nadu Premier League is one of the most significant domestic leagues that has emerged in recent years. Some of the best Indian talents from Tamil Nadu have played in the league. The league has also provided India with many future prospected talents.
Chepauk Super Gillies took on Nellai Royal Kings in the first match of the 2022 season. Narayan Jagadeesan and Kaushik Gandhi got the Super Gillies off to a flying start as they were chasing 185 to win. The two were scoring nearly 10 runs each over. Baba Aparjith then saw Jagadeesan had left his crease, and ripped the bails off the stumps, and Jagadeesan was out for 25 off 15 balls under the Mankad rule. The enraged batter was spotted outrageously showing the opposition the middle finger.
