During the ongoing first Test match between England and South Africa at Lords, famous singer Chris Martin was caught on camera. The Whitestone-born singer was having a brief chat with one of the commentators in the game, Isa Guha. Even though there is no clarity on what they were talking about, the video was enough to attract attention. The incident happened during the 49th over of the Proteas' innings.
The scorecard read 178/3 with Sarel Erwee and Rassie van Der Dussen at the crease. Talking about Martin, he is famous for his song Coldplay which was released a few years ago. On YouTube, the song has already crossed 1.7 billion views. On the other hand, Guha is a former England cricketer who has been doing commentary stints after retiring from the game. She retired from the game at the age of just 26.

The visitors have their noses ahead in the game
The second day of the rain-affected game started with the Three Lions tottering on 116/6. Only 32 overs could be bowled on August 17 due to persistent rains. On the next day (August 18), the South African bowlers didn't have too many difficulties as they bowled the opposition out on 165. Kagiso Rabada completed his five-wicket haul while Anrich Nortje and Marco Jansen ended with three and two wickets respectively.
In reply, the Dean Elgar-led side had a great start as the skipper and his opening partner, Sarel Erwee stitched a partnership of 85 runs. The former became the first victim of James Anderson, who recently turned 40. Erwee scored 73 before being caught behind by Ben Foakes of skipper Ben Stokes. This wicket triggered a mini-collapse as the team went from 187/3 to 210/6. However, the likes of Jansen and Keshav Maharaj took the team to 289/7 at the end of the day.
The team is leading by 124 runs and would be looking to get the lead of at least 150 runs.
