Bangladesh are currently busy playing the T20I tri-series in New Zealand. Ahead of the 20-20 World Cup, this series has provided a great platform for visitors. However, in the fifth match of the series, Bangladesh took on New Zealand in Christchurch. However, the home side were too good as they defeated them by 48 runs.

But, a funny incident occurred while Bangladesh were chasing the target of 209 runs. A simple catch was there to grab while Trent Boult was bowling. But, fielders kept on looking at each other while trying to complete the catch. Fans found it funny as the video went viral instantly.

Speaking of the video, Trent Boult came up to bowl the first over for the Kiwis. Najmul Hossain Shanto and Litton Das came out to open the inning for Bangladesh. In the third delivery of that over, Shanto tried to hit him in the leg side while coming down the target. But, he managed a leading edge only.

The ball went high in the air. Then, four fielders including the keeper and bowler went to grab it but no one took it finally. They all kept looking at each other thinking that any one of them will take the catch. But, the ball fell in between them and Najmul Hossain Shanto survived. Speaking of the match, Bangladesh won the toss and asked New Zealand to bat first.

While batting first, the Kiwis scored 208 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. Devon Conway scored 64 runs off 40 balls, including five fours and three sixes. Glenn Phillips scored 60 runs off 24 balls, including two fours and five sixes. In reply, Bangladesh managed only 160 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs. Meanwhile, Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 11 runs off 12 balls, including two fours only. Boult did not take any wickets in four overs after conceding 22 runs in the match.
