Pakistan are currently busy playing the first of the three-match Test series in Rawalpindi against England. After a long gap of 17 years, England finally came to Pakistan to play this Test series. However, the series opener began on 1 December 2022. Speaking of the match, England won the toss and opted to bat first.

Currently, on 5 December, Pakistan are batting in the fourth innings to chase down a target of 343 runs. However, in the second session of that day, Agha Salman got involved in a controversial DRS incident which has gone now viral. Meanwhile, the decision went in favor of the Pakistan batter but it surprised all fans.

Speaking of this controversial incident, that took place in the 76th minute. Jack Leach was bowling in that over while Agha Salman was batting for Pakistan. In the last delivery of that over, Salman tried to sweep a loopy delivery from Lech. But, he missed it completely and it hit him on the body.

The umpire also gave him out and Agha Salman went for the review. However, all England players were sure about that decision as the bounce has been low throughout this game. But, in replays, Hawk-eye confirmed that the ball was going over the stumps. Hence, Agha Salman got survived as all England players and fans were left stunned.

Speaking of the match, England batted first and scored 657 runs in the first innings in 101 overs. Then, in the second innings, Pakistan scored 579 runs in 155.3 overs. In the third innings, England declared after scoring 264 runs for seven wickets in 35.5 overs. So, Pakistan came out to bat in the fourth innings to chase down a target of 343 runs. Till tea on Day five, the Men in Green managed 257 runs for five wickets in 77 overs. In the next and final session of this Test, Pakistan needed 86 runs while England needed five wickets.
