During a drinks break in a warm-up game between Australia and Pakistan before the World Cup 2023, Australian cricket star David Warner showcased his dance moves, delighting fans in Hyderabad. Grooving to a popular song from the movie Pushpa, the stylish cricketer, currently in India for his final appearance in the fifty-over format, has been in good form, scoring 48 runs against Pakistan at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.

Let us watch how the legendary Australian batter reacts to the incredible moment:

In the warm-up match, Australia posted an impressive total of 351/7 in 50 overs, with Glenn Maxwell leading the charge with a powerful 77 off 71 balls. Pakistan, in a spirited chase, saw Babar Azam scoring 90 off 59 balls and Iftikhar Ahmad contributing 83 off 85 balls. Despite their efforts, they fell short by 14 runs, and Australia emerged victorious.

Warner's dance performance added an entertaining touch to the cricketing action, leaving fans eagerly anticipating more surprises in the upcoming  World Cup.

Australia would be eyeing their sixth title

Under the leadership of Michael Clarke, Australia clinched victory in the 2015 ODI World Cup, defeating New Zealand in the final. However, their fortunes took a turn in the 2019 edition when they faced a defeat to England in the semi-finals, leading to their elimination. But all in all the team is known for his extraordinary skills and temperament which they showcase on the biggest stage.

A key strength for Australia lies in its multi-dimensional players who can make substantial contributions across all three departments. Players like Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Marnus Labuschagne, and Mitchell Marsh not only excel with the bat but also provide valuable bowling options. This versatility provides Australia with a significant edge in a prestigious tournament such as the World Cup.

Despite these strengths, Australia has historically encountered challenges when facing spinners. Given the tendency of Indian pitches to offer turn and bounce, Australia is poised to face a formidable test in this aspect.
