Watch: Delhi unveils new jersey for Indian T20 League 2022

The Delhi team has grown a lot since they rebranded themselves a few years ago. The new-age captains have become their heroes and have given them a lot of glory in the past few seasons.  After making it to the playoffs in last two seasons, Delhi will be hoping to get their hands on their maiden title. With weeks to go before the upcoming season of Indian T20 League, Delhi has revealed its new jersey for the tournament.

Delhi's official Twitter handle posted a video unveiling the new look jersey as they go into the 2022 season. The new jersey has a shade of red in it along with the usual blue colour. The earlier jerseys just had multiple shades of blue. The tiger symbol, which has been their mascot for a while, also has a more prominent look this time around.

Rishabh Pant, in the meantime, is ready to take on Delhi's captaincy for the second time. He was announced as their captain when they retained him for the 2022 season. He has developed into a very mature cricketer since he took on this role. This time around, he will have a huge responsibility to take his team all the way through.

Delhi will begin their 2022 campaign on the 27th of March against Mumbai in the first double-header of the tournament. The match will be played at the Brabourne stadium in Mumbai.

Delhi have a good side this season that can help them win matches and lift their first-ever title. Shardul Thakur, David Warner, and Mitchell Marsh were some of the best picks for the team in the mega auction. They also have Pant, Prithvi Shaw, Axar Patel, and Anrich Nortje to form their core.
