India won the second ODI against Sri Lanka by four wickets on Thursday at Eden Gardens, Kolkata and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. KL Rahul steered the Indian ship during the chase with his gritty knock of 64 off 103 balls after Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj bundled out Sri Lanka for 215. Following India’s victory, Ishan Kishan and Virat Kohli were seen shaking their leg in celebration, the video of their dance has gone viral on social media.
In the video, Kohli and Ishan were seen replicating the dance steps of legendary Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor. The duo looked in full party mood as they were cheered on by the crowd present at the stadium. Seeing their favourite stars dance, the crowd went wild and couldn’t hold their excitement.

Coming back to the match, Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanka won the toss and elected to bat first. They lost their opener Avishka Fernando early in the innings on the score of 29 as Mohammed Siraj struck for India. From there on, debutant Nuwanidu Fernando and Kusal Mendis took the innings forward with a 73-run stand. The partnership was ended by Kuldeep Yadav in the 17th over who trapped Kusal Mendis in front of the stumps.
Axar Patel struck the third blow for India in the next over as he got rid of Dhananjaya De Silva. Sri Lanka were in all sorts of trouble as the set batter Fernando also got run out in the 22nd over leaving his team on 118/4.
Kuldeep Yadav continued his onslaught from the other end and picked up the crucial wicket captain Dasun Shanaka who scored an unbeaten century in the first ODI.

At 152/7, it looked like Sri Lanka will get bundled out under 200. However, some crucial runs by the tail helped Sri Lanka finish on 215 as they got all out in 39.4 overs. Mohammed Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav picked up three wickets each while Umran Malik picked up two.
In reply, India lost crucial wickets of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli in the first 10 overs and gave a heart attack to their fans. They further lost Shreyas Iyer on 86 as Sri Lankan bowlers brought their team back into the game. KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya got involved in a 75-run stand for the fifth wicket to take India out of misery.
KL Rahul held one end as he got some useful contributions from Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav that helped India got over the line in the 44th over. Kuldeep Yadav was awarded ‘Player of the Match’ for his match figures of 3/51 in 10 overs.
