Ahead of the 20-20 World Cup in Australia, the Pakistan team will look to do well this time around. In the last edition of this tournament, Pakistan lost in the Semi-final against the eventual champions Australia. However, skipper Babar Azam will be concerned about his middle-order batters.
Recently, in the T20I tri-series final in New Zealand, Middle-order batters finished the match in style for them. But, still, it will be a section of concern in the next World Cup. Meanwhile, Asif Ali is one of the middle-order batters for the Men in Green. His recent form is not up to the mark as Asif is heading toward the World Cup. Now, a video went viral where Asif Ali was seen attached by a phone, thrown by a fan from the crowd.

Asif Ali scored 32 runs in four innings in the tri-series in New Zealand
Speaking of the video, Asif Ali was coming toward the boundary during a practice session. However, a fan from the crowd threw a phone toward the player with the hope of a selfie. But, Asif had absolutely no clue as the phone hit his face out of nowhere. Meanwhile, he had not sustained any injury as Asif Ali looked absolutely fine.
Speaking of his recent form for Pakistan, Asif Ali scored just 32 runs in four innings in the T20I tri-series in New Zealand. Even, in the final, he scored only one run off two balls while chasing a target of 164 runs. However, he had an injury scare in the final while fielding against the Kiwis in the final.
On the first delivery of the third over, Devon Conway was batting as Mohammad Wasim came up to bowl. The Kiwi batter punched it through cover-point and the ball raced towards the fence. Asif Ali tried to chase the ball but his efforts went in vain as the ball won the race. But, during that effort, Asif’s knee got stuck on the ground and he laid on the ground in a bit of pain. Then, the physio came out to check on Asif and he had to walk out of the park. However, Asif came out to bat for his team during the chase.
