The Argentine footballer Lionel Messi is regarded as one of the best the world of football has ever seen, and for good reason. Apart from winning the Ballon d'Or a record seven times, the diminutive footballer holds numerous records. The star player is always the centre of attraction whenever he takes the field.

The Paris Saint-Germain player is loved and hailed all across the globe. So of his many fans cross all extents and invade the pitch to meet their favourite player. Something similar happened in Argentina's most recent match against Jamaica, and not just once or twice, but three times!

A viral video circulating on social media platforms shows a fan running towards Argentina's captain with his shirt off. When the fan arrives, Messi is startled and the fan hands him a marker while standing with his back to him. Messi, without hesitating, started to sign the fan's back.

However, while he was signing the fan's back, two security personnel came running up and tackled the fan to the ground, nearly tripping Messi.

The fan was then removed from the stadium and is most likely barred from attending future games. Social media was buzzing after a fan did something that many people wish they could do regularly.

As for the game, Argentina easily won, continuing their 35-game unbeaten streak that began in 2019. Argentina and Messi are currently preparing for the FIFA World Cup, which begins on November 20, 2022, in Qatar.
