The game between Mumbai and Delhi on Saturday was a pivotal game for the fate of the Indian T20 League 2022 Playoffs. Mumbai defeated Delhi by five wickets to help Bangalore enter the next stage of the tournament. If Delhi had managed to win this match, they would have qualified for the playoffs instead of Bangalore.

With one match yet to be played in the league stage, the Indian T20 League 2022 has its top four teams. Gujarat and Rajasthan will face each other in the first Qualifier at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on the 24th of May. Lucknow and Bangalore will meet at the same venue in the Eliminator on the 25th of May. The second Qualifier and the Final will then be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on the 27th and the 29th of May.
