WATCH: Fans start teasing Gautam Gambhir with chants of Virat Kohli's name as he was spotted outside LSG dressing room

The verbal spat and ugly confrontation between the former RCB skipper Virat Kohli and LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir after the match between LSG and RCB is continuously making headlines on social media since the time it took place. The incident happened on Monday night at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, the home ground of Lucknow Super Giants.

Meanwhile, a section of the fans who came to watch the match between LSG and CSK yesterday in Lucknow didn’t miss a chance to tease Gautam Gambhir. Just after noticing Gambhir’s presence outside Lucknow’s dressing room, the fans immediately started chanting the name of the veteran batter Virat Kohli.

The videos of this moment created by the fans with Gambhir are now making rounds on social media just within minutes of being shared on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

Notably, the former teammate of Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag also broke his silence on this spat between the two veteran players of Delhi.

“I switched off the TV once the match got over. I had no idea about what happened after the match. The next day when I woke up, I saw a lot of chaos on social media. What happened wasn’t right. The loser should quietly accept defeat and walk away and the winning team should celebrate. Why did they need to say anything to each other? I always say one thing, that these guys are icons of the country. If they do or say anything, millions of kids follow them and probably think ‘If my icon has done this, I would too’. So if they keep these things in mind, they would limit such incidents,”  said Sehwag to Cricbuzz.
