Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan, two of the best all-rounders that India has produced, have been displaying great performances in the Legends League Cricket. The Pathan brothers have proved that they are as fit as ever.
Apart from playing in the LLC, the two also played in the Road Safety World Series alongside. Both had to travel a lot during the tournaments but put on a great display despite that. Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has taken notice of their fitness and lauded them for the same.
Ahead of the final of the LLC, the India Capitals captain spoke about Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan in a press conference. "Mujhe nahi lagta ki Hindustan me koi bhi aise do khiladi hai jo itna travel karte hai aur consistently back to back matches khelte hai, aur uske bavajoot fit rehte hai. (I don't think any players in India travel so much and play so many back-to-back matches, and despite that, stay fit.)," he said.
"Kyuki is league me aapne dekha hai kitne aise khiladi hai jo sirf ye league khel rahe hai, break ke bavajoot injured ho rahe hai. To Irfan Yusuf ka fit rehna aur form ko barkar rakhna, aap sabko appreciate karna chahaiye. In fact, jo hamare yuva khiladi hai, jo injured hote hai, Irfan aur Yusf se seekh le sakte hai. ( Because, in this league, you've seen the players who play just these leagues get injured despite having breaks. I think everyone should appreciate Irfan and Yusuf's consistent form and fitness. In fact, young players, who get injured, should learn from Irfan and Yusuf." Gambhir added.

In the meantime, the Legends League Cricket will finally conclude after 18 days of entertaining cricket. The Bhilwara Kings and India Capitals would meet in the tournament's final. Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jodhpur will host the final match of the tournament on the 5th of October.
