Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell is turning a new chapter of his life. Earlier this month, he got married to his long-time girlfriend Vini Raman. Raman is an Indian-origin girl, who lives in Australia. At that time, the couple got married according to Christian traditions and customs. Last week, the couple decided to get married again according to Tamil traditions and customs.
A video has surfaced on social media where Maxwell is enjoying before the 'Varmala' ceremony. In the video, he was dancing and his partner was syncing with him. Both performed the ceremony while dancing, which is unusual in weddings. The family members and relatives of the couple were present during the ceremony.

The all-rounder decided to skip the white-ball games on the tour of Pakistan due to his marriage. The Australia test team won the three-match Test series by 1-0. Both teams will now play a three-match ODI and a sole T20I in Lahore. The ODI series will start on March 29, followed by the T20I on April 5.
Notably, Maxwell will also miss a few games of Indian T20 League 2022. Bangalore played their first game of the cash-rich league on March 27, where they lost by five wickets to Punjab Kings. The Men in Red and Black will play their next game against Kolkata on March 30 at the D.Y. Patil Stadium in Mumbai. On the other hand, the 33-year--old might be available play the league after April 5.
