On 9 November 2022, Pakistan are going to take on New Zealand in Sydney in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup. After losing two first matches, they managed to qualify for the semi-finals after winning the next three matches. South Africa also helped them by tasting a defeat against the Netherlands.

Meanwhile, Shoaib Malik is currently busy doing an analysis show named “The Pavillion” along with others like Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram, and Misbah-ul-Haq. Before the World Cup, there were reports that fans wanted to include Shoaib Malik in the squad. But, Pakistan did not include him. Now, he came up with huge praise for the in-form Suryakumar Yadav for his recent performances in the ongoing World Cup.

Here is the shared video:

“He has practiced a lot and this proves practice makes a man perfect” - Shoaib Malik on Suryakumar Yadav

While speaking on that show, Shoaib Malik heaped high praises for Suryakumar Yadav. He said: “He is that student who has done all his homework and is fully prepared. And when the teacher asks if all the assigned work has been done, he proudly says yes. If you want to bat in middle-order then he is the prime example.”

“This is also a good lesson for others. When the fielder is called in, he starts targeting those gaps. He knows that he won't be able to hit four consecutive sixes, thus he utilizes his shot selection effectively. We have seen his interview as well, he has practiced a lot and this proves practice makes a man perfect.” Shoaib Malik concluded.

Speaking about Shoaib Malik, he recently made headlines as reports of his getting divorced from his wife, Sania Mirza currently circulating. However, no official confirmation has come out from both of them. Speaking about Suryakumar Yadav’s performance in the ongoing World Cup, he has scored 225 runs in five matches so far in the ongoing tournament. His form has been instrumental in India’s journey so far in the World Cup. They will take on England on 10 November in Adelaide in the second semi-final.
