Team India locked horns with team Pakistan in Melbourne on 23 October 2022 in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup. After losing the last match in the World Cup, India were all charged up to do well this time around. On the other hand, Pakistan were looking to increase its dominance over the Men in Blue.

Hardik Pandya took three wickets with the ball while scoring 40 runs off 37 balls against Pakistan

The Men in Green scored 159 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. For Pakistan, Iftikhar Ahmed and Shan Masood scored fifty runs. On the other hand, Hardik Pandya and Arahdeep Singh took three wickets each in the match.
But, Indian batters also faced troubles as Pakistani bowlers were in tremendous form. They were clearly struggling badly by losing four wickets at the top quickly. But, Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya stitched a partnership of 100-plus runs which stable India’s innings. Virat remained not out on 82 runs while Hardik scored 37 runs off 40 balls. But, the match ended on the last ball of the last over as India clinched the thriller at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
