A hilarious moment transpired on the field in the T20 Blast game between Lancashire and Essex on Friday. 'Pepper dismissed Salt' in the match. Michael Pepper, at the boundary, caught the ball and sent it back in for Ben Allison to dismiss Philip Salt.
Salt slogged the ball towards deep mid-wicket, where Pepper was stationed, in the eighth over of the second innings. Pepper caught the ball but fell on the boundary rope after losing his balance. However, he showed great awareness to throw the ball back in before he fell down. Allison completed the catch to dismiss the batter. A video of the same has gone viral over the internet.
The league's official Twitter handle posted the video on Twitter. "WOW. What an effort from Michael Pepper," read the caption of the post.
