India are all set to tour England. The two teams will go head-on in one Test match, three ODIs, and three T20Is. Notably, the Test series is a continuation of the five-match Test series during India's tour of England in 2021. The fifth match of the series was postponed at that time. After four matches, India currently leads the series by 2-1.

Sony has released a promo showcasing Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi and cricketer Smriti Mandhana ahead of the series. In the hilarious promo, the two suggest that India will add on to their lead and win the Test series. The Bollywood star also reminds Smriti of the white-ball series to follow. He says India will trash England in all the formats. "Yeh July, prarambh hogi dhulai. Ger ready for India's tour of ย England to commence as #TeamIndia are looking for that HISTORIC Test victory and more," read the caption.

The final Test match of the series could go on to be a historic one if India do manage to beat England. The Indian team haven't won a Test series in England for quite a while now.

Here is the promo

In preparation for the Test match, India will play a four-day warm-up game against Leicestershire beginning on June 24th. The rescheduled Test match will take place at Birmingham's Edgbaston Stadium on the 1st of July. India will also play two T20 warm-up games before the start of the white-ball series.

The first T20 will be played at the Rose Bowl in Southampton, followed by the next two matches at the Edgbaston in Birmingham and Trent Bridge in Nottingham. The three One-Day Internationals will be played at Kennington Oval, Lord's and Old Trafford.

The Indian team will travel to England on June 15th or 16th. Key players including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah are anticipated to be rested for the South African series to be ready for the England tour.
