Watch: India cricketers engage in surfing and play volleyball

In the ongoing Asia Cup 2022, defending champions India qualified for the Super Four round after beating Pakistan and Hong Kong. The team will be playing in the Super Four round on September 4 with the opposition to be announced later. Before this, the team decided to switch off from the game. In a video uploaded by the Indian Cricket Board, the players were seen enjoying the beaches of the UAE.

First up the team did the surfing session. After this, the players got engaged in the beach and sand volleyball sessions. Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal praised the activities by saying that the activity is a good chance to create team bonding among the players.

Talking about the tournament, Sri Lanka has joined the likes of India and Afghanistan in the Super Four round. The Lankan Lions beat Bangladesh in the virtual knockout game by two wickets to advance to the next round. Talking about India and Afghanistan, they are yet to lose a game in the tournament. On the other hand, Sri Lanka lost their opening game against Afghanistan.

Now, only either Pakistan or Hong Kong can qualify for the remaining spot in the next round. Both teams will play each other in the final game of the Group stages on September 2 in Sharjah. The winner will advance to the next round. Even though Pakistan is the contender to win the game, Hong Kong can't be underestimated on two counts. First up is that Pakistan has been notoriously famous to lose against the minnows in the last few years.

Secondly, Hong Kong should tough fight against India in their last game. It will be interesting to see if both teams can make a game out of it. Talking about the Super Four round, the first game will be played on September 3 between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan in Sharjah.
