The five-match T20I series between India and South Africa has taken an unexpected turn, with the hosts rallying from a two-match trail to level the series. The decider match of the series will be played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on the 19th of June.

The Indian team players have now landed in Bangalore after the fourth match in Rajkot. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a video of the players travelling from Rajkot to Bangalore on their Twitter handle. In the video, the players can be seen enjoying their previous victory on their way to the final destination. Ishan Kishan can also be seen teasing Avesh Khan, who appears to be shy in front of the camera.

In the meantime, India has a golden chance to script history if they win the final match. India has never defeated South Africa in a bilateral T20I series at home. This will change if India wins the last game. In addition, no team has ever come back to win a five-match T20I series after being down by two. Rishabh Pant, captaining India for the first time, can claim that record.

As for the series, South Africa defeated India in the first two matches by a margin of seven wickets and four wickets, respectively. India then bounced back to win the next two games in Vizag and Rajkot. Dinesh Karthik was the game's standout in the previous encounter, scoring his first T20I half-century with a superb knock. He scored 55 runs in just 27 balls.

Hardik Pandya, who hit 46 runs in the game, was his lone supporter. In the first innings, the two contributed to India's total of 169 runs. In the chase, South Africa's batting order completely collapsed, as they were unable to build any significant partnerships. They finally were all-out for 87 runs, giving India an 82-run win. This was South Africa's lowest T20I score.
