On Saturday, April 29, at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, Mohit Sharma, a pacer for the Gujarat Titans (GT), took an incredible catch to dismiss all-rounder Shardul Thakur of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The incident happened in KKR's innings' fifth over. Mohammed Shami, a skilled bowler, bowled a delivery that Thakur mistimed. At the midpoint, Mohit ran backwards, looked over his right shoulder, and extended his entire body to judge it perfectly.
Even though Mohit was dealing with a left-hand ailment, the development happened. In the first few overs, the 34-year-old didn't enter the pitch. He held an ice pack in his hand for a while, but nothing could keep him from making the great catch.
