The match between Melbourne Renegades and Adelaide Strikers in the ongoing Big Bash League was witness to one superb moment that left a lot of fans and followers awestruck.

Renegades' Jake Fraser-McGurk took a one-handed catch near the boundary rope to send Strikers Jake Weatherald for 18 runs. The Strikers' batter struck a delivery of Zahir Khan in hope for a maximum. Fraser-McGurk though adjusted well and timed his jump perfectly to take a one-handed stunning catch.

The teenager had only a few seconds to position beneath the ball. He had to also see his feet are not touching the ropes. Fraser- McGurk’s incredible athleticism left the spectators and commentators stunned. Former Australian fast bowler Brendon Julian said that it was one of the best outfield catches he has ever seen. “What a catch!” former Australian fast bowler Brendon Julian said on Fox Cricket. “Unbelievable. “We are going to see that catch replayed right throughout the whole summer. “That is one of the best I’ve seen. The youngster takes a screamer on the boundary. He’s taken a hanger.”

Former Australia wicketkeeper batter Brad Haddin echoed the sentiments of Julian and felt it was an absolute screamer from the teenager. “That’s one of the best outfield catches you’ll ever see,” Haddin said. “One hand. What a catch. He’s set up like an Aussie rules mark. He’s come in, he’s timed his jump to perfection and that’s just great athleticism.”

Fortunately, the teenager’s stunning efforts didn’t go in vain as Renegades won a thriller of a match by just two runs.
