India pacer Jasprit Bumrah has started bowling in the national side's camp ahead of the Ireland series. The Men In Blue will play the three-match T20I series in the European nation. All these games will be played in Dublin. Meanwhile, after almost one year, Bumrah is making his comeback in the game. Last July, the right-arm pacer started having back trouble which led him to miss the third ODI against England and the Asia Cup 2022.
The five-time IPL winner made his comeback for a T20I against Australia last September but after playing the game, his back injury flared up again. This led to the Gujarat player missing out on the T20 World Cup 2022. After this, the team management and the board decided not to risk his injury. Even though he was available for selection for the home series against New Zealand after the surgery early this year, he hasn't being risked again.
From January to August this year, Bumrah has missed Border-Gavaskar Trophy, IPL 2023, World Test Championship final 2023. Now, with only less than two months left in the ODI World Cup, the Mumbai Indians player is looking good in the nets.
