James Neesham stunned everyone with his fielding excellence in the 28th match of the SA20 League against Durban’s Super Giants. Firstly, the 32-year-old took an absolute blinder to dismiss the Super Giants’ skipper Quinton de Kock in the seventh over of the first innings. It was also a crucial breakthrough for Pretoria Capitals as the opening pair of de Kock and Ben McDermott had already provided a strong foundation of 76 runs for the first wicket.

The video of this stunning catch taken by James Neesham is now making rounds on social media and interestingly the commentator was absolutely awestruck by the fielding heroics of Jimmy Neesham.

Notably, the New Zealand all-rounder also took a catch of Wiaan Mulder later in the first innings and has shown great excellence in fielding throughout the tournament.

Although Nees ham’s team Pretoria Capitals succumbed to the massive target and the bowling attack of Durban’s Super Giants while chasing the mammoth target of 255 runs in 20 overs. Super Giants’ bowlers bundled up Theunis de Bruyn’s men only on the score of 103 runs in just 13.5 overs to win the match by a big margin of 151 runs.

Earlier, in the first innings, the star Proteas batter Heinrich Klassen smashed a swashbuckling century of 104 runs off just 44 balls with 10 boundaries and six sixes to his name. Apart from Klassen, skipper de Kock, Breetzke, and McDermott played the knocks 43, 46, and 41 runs respectively.

Heinrich Klassen won the ‘player of the match award for his match-defining century in favor of Durban’s Super Giants.
