Rajasthan beat Bangalore on Friday in the second qualifier to book a slot in the final of the Indian T20 League 2022. Jos Buttler played a crucial role in the match as he scored his fourth century of the season. He guided the team to a seven-wicket victory.

Following the game, the Englishman was seen conversing with captain Sanju Samson. The two laid down on the turf during the interview, which reminded everyone of Yuzvendra Chahal's iconic celebration after he took a hat-trick against Kolkata. The Indian T20 League's official Twitter handle posted the video of Buttler and Samson. "Incredible ton. Enjoying the captaincy. Winning the title for the 'first Royal' Shane Warne. Centurion @josbuttler chats with skipper @IamSanjuSamson as @rajasthanroyals march into the final," read the caption of the tweet.

Buttler said in the video that he was delighted to have struck a century in front of such a large audience at the Narendra Modi Stadium. He then questioned Samson about his experience as captain this season. Samson remarked that he appreciated getting to know the team's various characters. At this point, Yashasvi Jaiswal slid into the frame, and Sanju Samson hilariously pointed at him and said, "characters like these".

The two also discussed the legacy that the late Shane Warne left for the squad. The captain said that they devoted the entire season to the veteran cricketer. He stated that they only needed to take the last step for him. Notably, Warne was the first player signed by Rajasthan back in 2008. He also led the team to a win in the first-ever season of the Indian T20 League.

Meanwhile, in the second qualifier, Rajasthan were clinical, to say the least. The Sanju Samson-led side will now face Gujarat in the final on May 29th. The men in pink will compete in the final for the first time since winning the title in 2008. Gujarat, on the other side, would aim to make the most of their superb form in what happens to be their debut season.
