The fifth Test match between India and England has seen some exciting action in the first three days. The Indian batters put up a brilliant batting display, by scoring 416 runs in the first innings. The bowlers followed it up with a great start to the next innings. England ended the second day with a score of 84 runs, and having lost five wickets.

However, the start of the third day witnessed a heated argument between Virat Kohli and Jonny Bairstow. The cameras saw Kohli walking up to Bairstow and signalling him to stand in his crease, after which the former India captain was seen making hand signals. He was then seen gesturing for Bairstow to be silent.

"What authority do you have? Don't tell me what to do. Just stand and fucking bat," Kohli seemed to have said. What Bairstow said at the time is not yet known. After England captain Ben Stokes was seen speaking with Kohli, the star India batsman approached Bairstow with a wide smile and a friendly punch on the arm.

A video of the same has gone viral on the internet. Sky Sports, the series' official broadcaster, also shared the video on Twitter. "It's tense out there between Virat Kohli and Jonny Bairstow," read the caption of the tweet.

In the meantime, Bairstow got his mind out of the heated banter and focused on his batting. He played a quick and exciting knock to score a half-century. He played some excellent shots to keep the runs flowing. The wicketkeeper-batter came close to completing his century before rain interrupted the game. He scored 91 runs in 113 balls, with 12 fours and two sixes, in England's score of 200 runs.

His efforts helped the side get back into the game after losing early wickets. He would now look to convert it to a three-digit score. India, on the other hand, would like to grab his wicket as soon as possible before he causes any further damage.
