South Africa are currently busy playing the three-match Test series in Australia. However, on 18th December 2022, the first match ended in favor of the Aussies. They won the match by six wickets. However, after this result, Australia strengthened their position at the top of the table while the Proteas slipped to the third position in the World Test Championship.
Speaking of the match, Australia won the toss and opted to field first. However, the match did not last for two days also as the result came out after 144.2 overs. But, during the match, Temba Bavuma got involved in a funny incident with Kagiso Rabada. Now, that video has gone viral as fans have already shared the same on social media platforms.

Temba Bavuma scored 38 and 29 runs respectively in two innings of the first Test
Speaking of the video, the incident took place in the last innings of the match. South Africa gave a target of 34 runs to the Aussies. They chased down the target but after losing four wickets only. Kagiso Rabada was on fire as he took all four wickets for 13 runs in four overs. Among those wickets, the Protea pacer was seen accidentally hitting Temba Bavuma’s face while celebrating.
Speaking of the match, the Proteas batted first and got bundled out for 152 runs in 48.2 overs. Temba Bavuma scored 38 runs off 70 balls. Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon managed to take three wickets each. In reply, South Africa bundled out the home side for 218 runs in 50.3 overs. For the visitors, Rabada took four wickets in 76 runs in 17.3 overs.
Then, while trailing by 66 runs, South Africa got bundled out for just 99 runs. Temba Bavuma scored 29 runs off 61 balls. Aussie skipper, Pat Cummins took five wickets for 42 runs in 12.4 overs. In reply, Australia chased down the 34-run target in 7.5 overs with six wickets in the bag. Travis Head won the player of the match award for scoring 92 runs in the first innings.
