The Hyderabad team has turned their fortunes big way in the Indian T20 League 2022 after losing their first two games. They have now won four games in a row to resurrect themselves. The orange army has become one of the most dominant teams this season. They currently stand fifth on the points table with eight points.
Credit to the successful performances, the dressing room atmosphere is not tense. To keep the fun alive in the camp, Kane Williamson, Aiden Markram, Abdul Samad, and Glenn Phillips formed a boyband and performed for their teammates.
Hyderabad's official Twitter handle posted a video with the caption, "The new #SRH band 🎵, A special song from Kane Mama and co. at SunRisers Got Talent🧡#KaneWilliamson @AidzMarkram @glenndominic159 @ABDULSAMAD__1"
Kane Williamson, who played the guitar in the video, named the band 'The Hydera-Boogie'. The lyrics were, "We love Biryani, And our fans are called the Orange Army…". The song was inspired by Billy Joel’s "We didn’t start the fire".
The performers also thanked Hyderabad players, support staff, physios, net bowlers, and the management for their support.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad will play their next game against Bangalore on the 23rd of April at the Brabourne Stadium. Speaking of the match, Hyderabad's star performer, Umran Malik said that he wants to get the wicket of Virat Kohli.
"KL Rahul was one. We had a match against them. I really wanted to get him out. But next match we have against RCB so I want to get Virat Kohli out. I’m a big fan of both of them. Virat Kohli spoke to me and told me to work on my bowling and fitness. He told me to work hard and once you do that the India cap is not too far away. He said I will get my chance when the time comes," Sports Tiger quoted Malik as saying.
