Trinbago Knight Riders skipper Kieron Pollard took the Caribbean Premier League 2022 by storm as he took a one-handed stunner on the boundary line. Over the years, fans have seen him doing some unbelievable antics on the field. Mumbai fans in the Indian T20 League might be used to seeing him doing extraordinarily well at the long-on and long-off positions.
Once again, the former West Indies skipper has taken an extraordinary catch on the boundary line. In the second game of the ongoing CPL 2022, Alzarri Joseph, who is playing for St. Lucia Kings this year, tried to hit a six over long-on boundary against Jayden Seales. Joseph timed the ball well and looked like the ball will go over the boundary.
However, Pollard decided not to let that happen and took a one-handed rebound catch on the boundary line. The incident happened in the last over of the game with the Kings batting first.

Talking about the game, the four-time winners (Knight Riders) made a winning start to their campaign. The former champions won the toss and elected to bowl first. St Lucia's innings never got going and were struggling at 76/4 after 12.2 overs. Apart from Mark Deyal's 35 off 24 balls, the top four batters had a strike rate of less than 100. However, thanks to Roshon Primus' 38 off 25 balls, the Blue Brigade reached a respectable total of 143/9.
For the Red Army, Akeal Hosein was the pick of the bowlers with the spell 4-0-13-4. In reply, the Kieron Pollard-led side chased down the target with three wickets in hand and four balls remaining. For them, Tion Webster (58) and Tim Siefert (34) played some useful innings to take the team over the line even though they messed up a bit in the end.
