Rishabh Pant is currently busy preparing for the 20-20 World Cup for India in Australia. In recent times, he has failed to grab a spot in T20Is for his lack of form. In other formats, Rishabh Pant managed to do well with both the bat and gloves. Even, before the World Cup, there were rumours of dropping him.
Reports suggested that selectors could choose Dinesh Karthik and Sanju Samson over him for the mega event. But, finally, he got the ticket for the World Cup along with the veteran keeper, Dinesh Karthik. Now, ahead of the World Cup, Rishabh Pant came up with a funny video on his Twitter.
Here is the shared video:

Rishabh Pant will find it tough to get into the playing XI in the 20-20 World Cup
Speaking of the video, Rishabh Pant was seen doing an advertisement video for a company. Basically, that company is known for cricket fantasy games. Now, the young wicketkeeper shared the video with a caption: “Appeal karne ki practice bahut pehle shuru hui thi. Thank God I practiced cricket.” He even shared an Instagram story where Rishabh was seen dressed like a “Musician.”
Speaking of Rishabh Pant, he will find it tough to get into the playing XI in the upcoming 20-20 World Cup. In the first match, he scored nine runs off 16 balls while in the second match, he scored nine runs off 11 balls. In the warm-up match against Australia, he did not play. But, some disturbing images regarding him left fans worried.
During the match, Rishabh Pant was seen sitting in the dugout along with Mohammed Shami and Moeen Ali. England’s off-spinner was talking with the veteran pacer while Shami pointed at Pant. It seemed like there was a heavy strapping and ice pack on his right knee. However, still, no official confirmation came from the team or the Board regarding any injury for the wicketkeeper batter. India will kick off their World Cup campaign on 23 October 2022 in Melbourne against Pakistan.
